As a first timer to this Gua Tempurung it was well worthy for me, and probably for the Sunday School. The kids were totally awestrucked by the fascinating sight of a dark cave lighted up only with a few tungsten lamps by the stairway. Our guide who lead the Group A troop (with the youngest kids) was a young Malay boy who was wittily narrating the unique formation of stalactite and stalagmite. (fuiyoh, i need to search dictionary in order to spell that!! ) I really wonder how well those 5-year-old really grasp the idea of these rock formation. The kids were just squeezing their partner's hand, while holding a torchlight, and mindfully watching their steps so as not to fall.

It was a fascinating sight for me, not only of the wonderful cave, but also the excitement of the kids! Just too bad, my camera's build-in flash is not powerful enough to shoot further range, to show the interior landscape view of this dark cave. The most I got is close up shots of the wall.

The journey to Sungai Klah was a test of my patience. Uon reaching Sg. Klah Hotspring, the walking route to reach the eating place was really endless! At first I was helping to carry one carton of mineral water from the bus to the entrace, then bro. Edward came to take over. Couldn't be more thankful for that, cos I really dread carrying heavy stuff, esp when the stomach is going to burst and my camera is dangling on my shoulder!

Everyone was hungry and tired. There was abit of problem with the food, because it was prepared with chilli sauce, and the kids couldn't take it! When I helped clean up the area, I found so many burger bitten by a small mouth. So wasteful. I felt the wave of bad karma (I dunno in me, or for the kids) for throwing away the food like that. For a moment I was so hungry I could eat anything, but after eating, I helped throw away so many wasted food .

The kids were so filled with energy, they couldn't careless to jump straight into the hotspring swimming pool! I took my own sweet time, trying to catch a glimpse of all the activities going on. Some older teachers were soaking their feet at the higher temperature soaking pool, a few went to 'boil egg', while all the kids were splashing themselves like they were in Sunway Lagoon.

I forgot how kids are kids, I took off my sandals, went to dip my feet at the pool, trying to capture the happy kids faces when suddenly, the kids splashed water to another teacher who ran behind me! Geezz... I have to get away from the water!

At one moment I was having ice-cream, while soaking my feet at one of the hottest temperature pool with other teachers, seated directly under the sun, and trying to 'protect' my camera!! Unimaginable.

The kids started cleaning up, and everyone began packing to leave for the buses. All well ends well.
